Thanks to Darcy, we’ll have a table at Quad Day: August 23 from noon to 4 PM. Come! Help!
Until then we won’t be having our regular meetings. We’ll start back up after the first day of instruction.

Information (in Esperanto) from Viktor Payuk on the Esperanto Society of Chicago’s picnic:
Sorry, this entry is only available in Esperanto.
We’ve started planning activities for the fall. Here are a few ideas:
Other ideas?
The topic of the next (July 2nd) meeting will be a discussion of the short story “Marvirinstrato” by Tim Westover, the title story of his new short story collection.
You can download the book for free, so even people who haven’t bought a copy can participate.
If any beginners want to participate, we can get together in advance to read it as a group. Express interest either to the Esperanto_Champaign list or to info@ekoci.org.
Note the new day, time, and place for meetings Thursdays at the Espresso Royal across from the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts (1117 W Oregon St, Urbana) at 4:00 PM.
Our regular meeting will take place at the usual time and place ( 5:00 PM at the Foreign Language building).
Come! We’ll discuss the just-ended annual convention of Esperanto-USA.
Because of the end of the school year, and because of the Esperanto jarkunveno, we won’t meet next week. Instead, join us at the jarkunveno itself!
We still need to decide whether we’re going to try to meet over the summer. Check here for updates.
Despite final exams, we will meet this week at the usual time and place.
Agenda:
My brother just translated a brief excerpt from Hodgman’s book (at his request). Read all about it:
