  1. Do I have to be a student I join the group? Is there a fee? What happens at these meets. Sorry for posting this in a comment I didn’t know how else to contact someone.

  2. You do not have to be a student to join, and the group is free. (We also tend to use books that are available free on-line, so there’s generally nothing you have to buy either.)

These days we have one meeting a week, for the beginner’s group. At those meetings we work our way through a beginner’s text book, taking turns reading a sentence or two, and then translating it into English.

We’ve been meeting in the Foreign Language Building on campus at 6:30 to 7:30 PM on Tuesdays just lately, but we we’re willing to move the time or place to make sure that anyone who’s interested can attend.

If you’re interested in attending, let me know, and I can get you precise details. (Since we’re not a registered student organization, we can’t reserve a room, so we just gather in the lobby a few minutes before 6:30 and then find a classroom that’s not in use.)

    Thanks for your interest!
